1998 New York City Motorcycle Show

February 13, 1998 -- Brad Berson

Old Bike GuyThe Motorcycle Show drew all kinds as it made its 1998 appearance at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Young and old alike, men, women, children, boyfriends and girlfriends all come to see and touch the latest motorcycles from all the popular manufacturers and a bunch of smaller shops, shop for motorcycle and watercraft accessories, ply salespeople for information and brochures, watch the stunt shows, and show their support for the sport of motorcycling.

Hooter GirlsOK, so this article is really just a gratuitous opportunity to display flesh and pretty faces. Anyone with half an interest in motorcycles knew about the offerings seen at the Motorcycle Show, including beautiful machines from newcomer Polaris, some new and improved models from Buell, and much more. What you folks may have missed, however, included the Hooter Girls promoting the American Dream Machine motorcycle dealership of New York City. Here they are showing their smiles and perhaps just a bit more than that. Click on the picture for a better view.

Knee-Dragon GirlIf you missed the New York Motorcycle show you may also have missed this adorable face helping promote the Knee-Dragon. (gratuitous plug!) The Knee-Dragon provides a unique service by joining motorcycle racers and sponsors and co-sponsoring racers as well. Go see their web site at http://kneedragon.com. Hey, who ever said the press could not be bought...
